TIC was awarded the contract for the construction of the Tehachapi Modernization and Expansion Project. Major systems included raw material storage, handling, milling and blending, kiln, preheater tower, clinker cooling, storage and handling, finish grinding, cement loadout, coal/coke handling, and cement storage and handling.
TIC was awarded the contract for the construction of the Bald Mountain Expansion Project. Scope of work consisted of concrete, pre-engineered buildings and structural steel at the existing open pit gold mining facility.
TIC is the general contractor for a 2,900 STPD, grassroots, cement plant located near Pueblo, Colo.
TIC was awarded the contract for the design/build contractor responsible for detailed engineering and construction of the Durkee Plant Expansion that included a production line capacity increase from 1,500 STPD to 2,700 STPD of clinker.
TIC was awarded the contract for the construction of the Harleyville Plant Modernization. Scope of work consist of the construction of a new cement line designed to produce 3,000 TPD.
TIC was the general contractor for the process facility of a 25,000 TPD molybdenum mine. Additional scope of work included construction of a water intake structure and pipeline.
TIC was awarded the contract for the rail car unloading facility including conveyor, feeder and stacking tube to tie into existing coal handling system.
TIC was the general contractor for Kennecott’s 4th Line Expansion Project,including the installation of one of the largest mills in the world. TIC performed civil, mechanical, structural steel and piping scopes. Principal areas of construction included grinding, building concrete and mill erection, coarse ore reclaim mechanical, flotation and moly plant mechanical and piping, refinery, filter plant and conveyors.
TIC was awarded the contract for the in-pit crushing and conveying system.
TIC was awarded the contract for the M&P and E&I work at an existing 28,000 TPD molybdenum mine that was brought back into production. Scope of work included demolition of existing structures, refurbishment of the primary and secondary crushing facilities, and construction of new facilities including a new mill and concentrator, ore storage and material handling systems, and a new main substation.
